Build a highly efficient and easily maintainable underground sewer network with the 110mm x 45° Eurofit UG Access Left (AL) Junction. Designed specifically for underground (UG) drainage, this heavy-duty beige PVC fitting merges a 110mm branch line into your main 110mm sewer pipe at a smooth 45-degree angle. This shallow Y-branch ensures high-velocity water flow to prevent blockages. Best of all, it features an integrated Access Left (AL) inspection plate, allowing plumbers to easily clear clogs and inspect the line without digging up the entire junction.
Key Features:
Size: 110mm across all connection points.
Angle: 45 Degrees (Y-Branch for optimal directional flow).
Type: Underground (UG) drainage junction.
Maintenance: Features a bolted Access Left (AL) plate for easy rodding and cleaning.
Material: Heavy-duty, crush-resistant Beige PVC.
What does "AL" mean on a plumbing junction? "AL" stands for Access Left. When you look down the main pipe in the direction the water is flowing, the removable rectangular access plate is located on the left-hand side of the fitting. (Conversely, "AR" means Access Right). This allows plumbers to choose the exact fitting they need based on which side of the trench is easiest to reach.
Why use a 45-degree junction underground? Underground pipes carry heavy solid waste. A 45-degree angle merges two waste flows together smoothly, maintaining the momentum of the water. If you used a sharp 90-degree T-junction, the waste could crash into the side of the pipe and build up over time.
Can I use this beige fitting above ground? No, beige PVC fittings are strictly for Underground (UG) use. They are not UV-stabilized, meaning sunlight will make them brittle over time. For above-ground plumbing, you should use the white SV fittings.
